An armchair is for the favourite book, the radio play, the box set and the bedtime fairy tale. It’s Watch with Mother, Jackanory and Tales of the Unexpected. It’s Rom-com, Sci-Fi and Fright Night. The armchair is a special place for the imagination.

But what would the imagination be without a rocket to take it to strange and unexpected places? Rockets are crucial. Flash Gordon had one and look what he accomplished. Without a rocket we limit our horizons – no warp speed, hyperdrive or boom tube - forever shackled by gravity to the humdrum world of reality.
